| Dear Friends of Taw Meem Simkat,
This Blessed Holiday Season, we extend to you and your family our warmest wishes for a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New year. It is also the time of year that we ask you to think about the many Syrian Orthodox children in the Middle East who still need our help. Many years of violence and bad economic conditions have made it very difficult for these children and their families, and sometimes children are orphaned or separated from their parents. Often, these children and their families can get help only at local religious schools and orphanages which we help to support. For over 100 years, our organization has been helping those institutions which educate and sometimes house these children, which also benefits their families and communities. The early help, education and care they receive at these schools and orphanages make a real difference in their lives. We have developed very close relationships with the places we send money to, and our own T.M.S. School in Beirut is fully operational. During this past year, we sent contributions to the following;
We ask you to remember that no part of your donation ever goes to fundraisers, and no member of our Organization is paid for their time or work. 100% of your donation is used to benefit our needy children and orphans. Please be generous once again so that we can continue this important work, and remember that we ask for donations only once a year. As always, we invite you to write to us with any questions or comments. More people need to know about us and what we do, so
we have included two reply envelopes and forms. We would like you to
show this letter to someone your know who might want to contribute, and
give them the extra envelope and form. Please send your donations to the
Assyrian Orphanage & School Association, using the enclosed
envelopes, and mail to Arthur Asfar, 774 Norman Road, Ridgefield, NJ
07657. |
